Ciechocinek is the best known Polish spa, which has been attracting people for many years thanks to its healing values but also due to its unique climate, green areas all over the place and the charm of architectural monuments and walking routes. The spa has unique natural healing features and a rich historical past connected with the tradition of salt manufacturing. Its peculiarity are the wooden graduation towers which were originally built to evaporate brine produce a lot of ozone and saturate the air with humidity. Thanks to this fact the microclimate around the graduation towers is like a sea climate with all its healing properties.


The most precious resource of the spa is the brine and sulfate waters. What is more, the spa is among the places of the lowest amount of yearly precipitation what makes the healing and relaxing stay even more efficient.
In the spa there are a lot of architectural monuments which are worth seeing such as a summer wooden theatre, one of the three of such a type in Europe. A characteristic feature of the city is the wooden concert shell in the spa park, new gothic parish church, a wooden orthodox church, and President Moscicki Mansion which is now the residence of the president of the Republic of Poland.
